Escape the hustle of daily life and reconnect with nature

KORO FARMSTAY

Sustainable Living • Sustainable Agriculture • Farmstay & Eco-Tourism

Northern Uganda

Koro Farmstay is a place where sustainable living becomes a lived experience.
Located in the Koro–Gulu region of Northern Uganda, we combine organic agriculture, traditional knowledge, community learning, and eco-tourism to create a farmstay that nourishes people, land, and livelihoods.

Here, sustainability is not a concept—it is a way of life.

Why Koro Farmstay?

Koro Farmstay is not simply a farm. It is a step-by-step journey toward self-sufficient, organic, and intentional living in Northern Uganda.

The vision is to build an integrated rural model that includes:

  • A working organic and regenerative farm

  • Natural building projects using local materials

  • An off-grid demonstration site

  • A farmstay for visitors and returnees

  • A rural engagement and opportunity hub

Each part supports the other. Farming strengthens food security. Natural building reduces costs and environmental impact. Off-grid systems create independence. Community engagement builds long-term sustainability.

This is not about building quickly.
It is about building correctly.

Not an Escape — A Strategic Move

I want to be clear about something important.

This is not a rushed decision.
This is not a quick solution to abandon life elsewhere.

Relocation, especially for those in the diaspora, should never be impulsive. It requires planning, financial clarity, realistic expectations, and understanding of the local environment.

Koro Farmstay is being developed as a place to explore first.

Explore balance.
Explore opportunity.
Explore what intentional living might look like for you.

Before making any major transition, it is wise to observe, learn, and prepare.
